As usual, we've been very busy here at Winged Heart, and that means our website is never completely up to date with all the products we make. This year we have brought out two new products - Poetry Panels and Stained Glass Paperweights. Here's a little bit of information about both of them.
Poetry Panels - an idea of Drew's! Drew is very fond of poetry of all kinds. This year is the 300th anniversary of Robert Burns' birth, and we wanted to produce something to commemorate this for our Scottish shops. We have designed a collection of nine window decorations framed with platinum coated lead, each one an extract from one of Burns' famous poems. Have a look under 'Shop by Design' and scroll down to Poetry Panels to see these. They are priced at £12.99 each. We hope in future to bring out Poetry Panels featuring extracts from other famous poets, but in the meantime we hope you will like our choice in Robert Burns. The Poetry Panels are beautifully gift boxed in ivory and gold, so make lovely gifts for special friends and relatives.
Stained Glass Paperweights - Mara's idea this time. We are incorporating our hand painted glass into high quality French glass paperweights. These are 70mm in diameter and 9mm high. Again they are gift boxed in ivory and gold. No-one is making paperweights like these, and we're very pleased with the effect they give. We are starting off with our Cathedral and Heritage designs and you will find them very shortly on this site available to buy at £10.99 each. Christmas gifts? William Wallace Large and Small Panels. We produced this hand painted glass reproduction for Edinburgh Castle. It comes from an original wonderful stained glass window in St. Margaret's Chapel there. See our large panel at the bottom of this page.

We have designed a large number of hand painted gifts for the Notre Dame Cathedral shop in Paris. Here is our representation of their beautiful North rose window. Contact the Cathedrale or ourselves for more information. Our Roundel designs include a lovely cross against filigree, St. Louis, a magnificent Madonna Enthroned, Madonna with four little angels, Stella Maris and of course a stained glass Fleur de Lys. |
