Charles Rennie Mackintosh Inspired Mirrors

The innovative artistic work of Scottish architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh in the early 1900's has given us now the inspiration to create designs for these very special 'Slimline' decorative Mirrors. Mackintosh's art is particularly known for his floral roses and buds, and Japanese-influenced formalised patterns which we seem to appreciate even more these days. Mackintosh in turn had a strong influence on Frank Lloyd Wright in the USA. Our Mackintosh-inspired mirrors are well-priced and make ideal gifts for the home, and those important special occasions, including very special wedding, anniversary and birthday gifts, or just quality gifts for a friend, wife or mother.

Our Mackintosh 'Slimline' Mirrors are 17" long by 4" wide and come gift boxed in black and silver.

A lot of people don't recognize this design as Mackintosh, but it is, and it was incorporated into the famous house he designed for clients in Northampton at 78 Derngate. Later Mackintosh, it is an art deco style design. 78 Derngate is now owned by a trust and if you have a chance to go to Northampton, do visit their museum at the house.

This colour combination is very 'art deco'. The opal colour has the faintest touch of blue in it, which looks great with black.
