About Us Winged Heart is a small but energetic company based in the borders of Scotland with England, not far from Hadrian's Roman Wall, and within sight of the Scottish hills and English Lake District. All Winged Heart products are hand made by us and therefore British made. We try to put a little spirit in every piece we make. Our things are made by people, not machines, and each piece is different.

We support ethical trading and care of the environment. We use mostly biodegradable packaging - mostly paper products.

Making A Purchase We accept Visa, Mastercard and Switch cards. On-line credit and debit card details are encrypted for total security. If you wish, however, to give us your card details personally, you may do so via phone, fax or snail mail if you prefer.

Prices are in UK £ sterling and your credit card will be charged accordingly. Prices are also given in the approximate Euro equivalent for information only. If you are shopping from North America, Europe or elsewhere, your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency at the prevailing exchange rate.

If you wish to pay by cheque/check, these can either be drawn in sterling on a mainland British bank, or Eurocheques in sterling.

Shipping And Handling We ship our stained glass gifts worldwide, and use quality packaging to ensure your chosen products get to you or your recipient safely. We use first class post (or a carrier for orders over 1.5 kilos) in the UK, and air mail to destinations overseas. A budget surface mail option is available for shipping to the US and Rest of World outside Europe.

Postage depends on weight and delivery zone (UK, Europe, Rest of World). and is calculated at checkout. Minimum P & P charge £2.95. The Postage and Packing charge includes the postage, processing, packaging and 'signed for' delivery costs that we incur. We care that our goods reach you safely and can be tracked in transit, so we use International 'signed-for' delivery as standard (£3.30/US$5.60 to overseas destinations).

Delivery Schedule Delivery is normally 2-4 days from despatch in the UK, and 5-8 days overseas by air mail post (surface mail may take 3-4 weeks but is cheaper). There may occasionally be a delay if an item is out of stock, or if there is a problem with the postal service.

Tax Charges All prices include taxes where appropriate.

Credit Card Security All credit and debit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit secure encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer and are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee All our products are checked so they leave our premises in good condition. We despatch in export quality robust packaging to ensure that your chosen items arrive safely. If an item does arrive damaged, please notify us within 7 days of delivery. We may ask you to return it in the original packaging and will replace the item or refund your money. This is in addition to any statutory rights you have. If you wish to return a product please contact us to let us know there is a problem. Refunds can only be given if the product reaches us without further damage. Please therefore take care to pack and despatch goods in adequate packaging and use a recorded delivery service. Money cannot be refunded for returned goods which do not reach us or which are packed without sufficient protection.

Reaching Us Our office is normally open from 11.00 - 17.00 UK time. (This equates to US East Coast time of 06.00 - 12.00). You may also email or fax any queries 24 hours a day, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Privacy Policy Winged Heart does not disclose buyers' information to third parties.
